Energy Xchange – Burnsville, NC

McGee Environmental performed LFG Operations and Maintenance at the Energy Xchange located on the Yancey-Mitchell Landfill near Burnsville, NC.

The LFG-to-Energy project features 7 active extraction wells that provide fuel for the four different types of appliances that use LFG. Those uses include heating greenhouses, heating artist’s studios, fueling glass blowing equipment, and fueling a ceramics kiln.
